Ingredients:

- oil

- birdseye chilli’s

- ground paprika

- garlic

- lime zest

- lime juice

The other night Amanda and I decided to have an impromptu date, one in our backyard. Many things came together that night to make a memorable experience. We had just gotten a BBQ as a gift from Amanda’s parents, the weather was beautifully warm and summery, the sun was out till late that night, and the food I cooked on the BBQ came out better than when I’ve cooked on the stove and oven.

Prior to me becoming a home owner, we use to go out every Saturday for dinner. Our restaurant of choice, Rudy’s. A little Italian restaurant that we had both become very fond of. We even became friends with the owners. Those times were a lot of fun. Good food, great environment, and above all the best company.

The other night, on our balcony, we recreated that something special. Life is good.
