rising above
Sometimes I get the feeling that everything around me isn’t quite what I want it to be. The walls feel like they’re caving in, and everything feels like it’s falling apart.
During moments like those I can either choose to dwell on the things that I don’t like, or choose to rise above the rubbish that’s surrounding me and focus on the good things. It’s never easy to do. My focus always turns towards the things that are right in front of me. But endeavor to look beyond, and you’ll find that you start to find the good and block out the bad.
Some days it just feels like the world is against you. Everywhere you look you see something that you don’t want to see, or hear something you don’t want to hear. The people around you bring the bad things in your vicinity to your attention, and the bad won’t stop attacking your senses. Fight back, find the good and help those around you find the good too.
